Led by Sadie Brookman, Abingdon’s Wellness Program is cutting the edge off the way seniors approach physical and mental fitness. With a focus on improving balance, posture, fall prevention, flexibility and brain health, the monthly wellness schedule is chock-full of solutions for our members.
From chair yoga to Pilates, core strength to line dancing, Abingdon offers one of the most comprehensive and innovative wellness calendars for all levels of participation. Members can improve their quality of life through regular activity while also enjoying fun socialization with friends.
The program is enhanced by our partnership with Wake Forest University and the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging. Their research is committed to providing solutions that help seniors live longer, healthier lifestyles and is a natural fit for our members.
